Villa: “Pergo is a big family, my farewell is not goodbye”

Albert Villa explains in an interview with La Provincia di Crema and Cremona the reasons that led him to step down from the Pergolettese bench next season: “There are priorities in life. Right now I have a few issues that need to be addressed, and it won’t be in the short term. That is why I have made the decision not to accept the company’s offer to extend the contract, already agreed verbally a few days ago. I can’t ask the public to wait for me and stop their programming: hence the decision to split. I am very sorry, because I am leaving a big family, a wonderful environment, with its own advantages and disadvantages, but where people still feel good. With Cesare Fogliazza, with whom I have a relationship that goes beyond the professional, we had a very good talk and parted.
