A 25-year-old striker, Lauder agrees with São Bento for the 2022 Copa Paulista: “I didn’t think twice about accepting and coming to defend the club’s colors”
Trained in the basic categories of the Corinthiansthe attacker Lauder succeeded in arriving at São Bento last week. The 25-year-old athlete signed with the São Paulo club for the 2022 Copa Paulista. After the announcement, the player spoke about his motivation to settle with São Bento and his expectation for the state competition.
“São Bento is a very traditional team and their history shows that. So, when I received the invitation, I didn’t think twice about accepting and coming to defend the colors of São Bento. I am very happy to be able to be here. I hope we can hold a great competition, play good games and lead the team in search of the title”, said through his adviser.

In addition to Corinthians, Lauder also defended the Vasco. At Timão, the forward won important titles at the base, such as the 2015 São Paulo Junior Football Cup and the 2014 Brazilian Under-20 Championship. Lauder praised the squad and highlighted the preparation being made for the competition.
“The management has done a very good job and hired great players for the squad. The level of competition in training has been very high and this promotes the quality of the team. The preparation is going very well. We are doing very intense training and it has taken us to the maximum. I hope that we follow this same path and that we can have a great competition”, concluded.
São Bento will make its debut in the Copa Paulista on July 3, at 15:00 (Brasília time), against clear river, out of home. The team is in Group 2, of the competition, also in the same group of Sports Brazil, lemense, Primavera-SP and XV of Piracicaba, the latter his first opponent in his stadium, on the 10th of July. The top two in each group advance to the quarterfinals.
Study publishes ranking of the biggest fans in Brazil
In a study released this Tuesday, the 14th, the Flamengo appeared once again at the top of the list of the biggest football fans in Brazil. In the ‘Sport Track’ survey, the red-black club leads the ranking with an advantage over the São Paulo trio formed by Corinthians, Sao Paulo and palm trees.
According to the survey, Flamengo’s fans are represented by 24% of Brazilians, an increase in relation to recent years. Timão is the vice-leader of the ranking, with 18%. Tricolor and Verdão close the top 4, in third and fourth places, with 11.5% and 9.8%, respectively. In the last survey, the difference between Flamengo and Corinthians was 22.7% against 18.7%.
