Head coach Feyenoord Arne Slot denied information about the transition to Tottenham. The mentor will extend the contract with the Rotterdam team.
“I am grateful for the attention to me, but I want to stay at Feyenoord and continue to build on the foundation that has been laid over the past two seasons. There are no negotiations on the transfer and there was not, and yesterday’s discussion with the management was exclusively about a possible extension of the contract. All conversations with Feyenoord are only about this, ”said the coach.
Earlier it was reported that Slot was one of the candidates for the post of head coach of Tottenham Hotspur. In addition to the Dutchman, Spurs are considering ex-Bavaria coach Julian Nagelsmann.
The slot has been led by Feyenoord since the summer of 2021. This season, the Rotterdam team became champions of the Netherlands ahead of schedule. Slot’s team also reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, defeating Shakhtar during the tournament.
