Vasily lost ground after losing to Haney
Authoritative magazine The Ring provided an updated rating best boxers in the world out of weight category (P4P).
WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world heavyweight champion tops the ranking Oleksandr Usyk. In second place was former undisputed bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue, and third was WBO welterweight title holder Terence Crawford.
Former world champion in three weight divisions Vasily Lomachenko dropped from seventh to tenth position after losing to Devin Haney. Note that the American is in eighth place in the P4P ranking.
Lomachenko lost to Haney for the title of undisputed world lightweight champion. According to the results of 12 rounds, the judges gave the victory to the American boxer: 116:112, 115:113, 115:113. The sports community spoke about the unfair decision of the panel of judges.
Usyk is due to make a mandatory WBA title defense against Daniel Dubois. If the Briton is unable to take part in the fight due to injury or for any other reason, then the Ukrainian will probably fight Deontay Wilder.
