Ukrainian transfer is estimated at 3 million euros
Midfielder SC Dnepr-1 Oleksandr Pikhalyonok fell into the sphere of interests of the Greek Panathinaikos.
According to newspao.gr, in the fall of 2022, Pikhalenok was offered to Panathinaikos, but then the Greek club refused to sign the Ukrainian for 1.8 million euros.
Now Panathinaikos is again considering the option of transferring Pikhalenok, but now the transfer fee of the midfielder is 3 million euros.
It is noted that a potential meeting between Dnipro-1 and Panathinaikos in the Champions League can prevent the transfer of Pikhalenok. If the team of Oleksandr Kucher takes the second place in the UPL, then the Greek club can become one of the opponents of the vice-champion of Ukraine in the European Cup qualification.
This season, Pikhalyonok has scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in 38 matches for Dnipro-1 in all competitions.
Dnepr-1 takes the second place in the championship of Ukraine. Kucher’s team is five points behind Shakhtar and three points ahead of Zorya. Panathinaikos finished the season in second position in the Greek Championship.
