Kryvbas retains mathematical chances for European cups
Mentor Kryvbas Yuri Vernidub commented on the victory over Metalist (2:0) in the 28th round of the UPL. Separately, the coach shared his impressions of the performance of the striker of the Niger national team Daniel Sozah.
“As for the match with Metalist: it was a good game, the opponent also played football and had good chances. In my opinion, we more deserved this victory. We scored two good goals, we could have scored more.”
“We have to move on. It remains to play two away games: on May 29 in Kyiv with Metallist 1925, and then on June 4 in Uzhgorod with Dnepr-1. This is the end of our championship.”

The victory for the Krivoy Rog club was brought by goals from Sozach and Kapic. Note that the start of the meeting was delayed by more than two hours due to heavy rain in Krivoy Rog.
Kryvbas is seventh in the UPL with 38 points and retains mathematical chances for European competition. In the next round on May 29, the Vernydub team will play against Metalist 1925.
