Alexander Shupliakov, forward’s children’s coach Artem Dziuba expressed confidence that the 34-year-old striker’s contract extension with “Locomotive” will benefit the club.
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv in February 2023, he played 11 games for the capital’s side in all tournaments, scored eight goals and assisted his partners four times. On Thursday, the 34-year-old striker signed a new contract with the Red-Greens until the end of the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for another season.
– Certainly, the head coach of Lokomotiv (Mikhail Galaktionov ) trusts Dziuba. I don’t think he is wrong.
Is it possible to build a team around Dziuba? I hope so. Because then there will definitely be a balance, Shupliakov told Sport24.
