Armenians played out the meeting with nine
Scotland defeated on the road Armenia (4:1) in the match of the fourth round of group 1 of division “B” League of Nations.
Already in the 6th minute of the meeting Vahan Bichakhchyan brought the Armenian team forward. Guests quickly bounced back through the efforts of Stuart Armstrong. In stoppage time for the first half, the midfielder scored again.
It should be noted that before the second goal of the Scots, Armenia remained in the minority – the second yellow card was received by Arman Hovhannisyan.
In the second half, Scotland scored two more goals. Scoring strikes on account of John McGinn and Che Adams.
At the 90+1st minute, another player of the Armenian national team, Kamo Hovhannisyan, was sent off.
Scotland secured their second win in the group and moved up to second position in the standings. Armenia ranks third.
