Athletistic/Football. Russian coach Andrei Kanchelskis has spoken about Khimki Football Club’s prospects in the First League following their relegation from the Russian Premier League (RPL).
Kanchelskis noted that Khimki claimed he had no competition in the Premier League. However, in reality, the First League is a complex and tough competition that should not be underestimated.
Kanchelskis noted that Khimki’s coach Dmitry Talalaev will face this challenge. He has no other choice. Talalaev previously “buried” both “Torpedo” and “Khimki”. Now he is forced to return Khimki to the RPL. Kanchelskis expressed his hope that Talalaev can finally achieve something meaningful in his coaching career.
