Brazil will play friendlies against two African countries as part of an anti-racism campaign in support of his Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior , who has faced racial abuse in La Liga games this season. This is reported by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
The five-time world champions will face Guinea on June 17 in Barcelona, followed by Senegal in Lisbon three days later.
Vinicius during the match of the 35th day of the Spanish championship against Valencia (0-1) was insulted by the supporters in the stands, at the end of the meeting, the player received a red card. After the match, the Brazilian wrote on social media that ‘racism in La Liga is a common phenomenon’.
