Former sports director of Moscow “Dynamo” Roman Oreshchuk said that at a time when Stanislav Cherchesov worked as the head coach of the Russian national team, there was no agency lobby when calling players to the national team.
Cherchesov led the Russian national team from 2016 to 2021. Under his leadership, the team reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup and failed to qualify from the Euro 2020 group.
