Klopp: Salah loves Liverpool and won’t leave if Champions League misses

The mentor said that he would personally take the player to another club if he wanted to leave

Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp not worried about the attacker Mohamed Salah decides to leave the team due to missing out on the Champions League.

“Obviously Mo loves being here and Mo was a part of that. He apologized for what “we” did, not what “the other guys did, but I had to go with them.” Everything is fine”.

“If a player came up to me and said, ‘Oh, we didn’t qualify for the Champions League, I have to leave,’ I would take him to another club myself. I would take the car keys and say: “Get in, I’ll take you wherever you want.” It would be something I could never understand. I would say, “Oh, we didn’t qualify for the Champions League, I have to work in the Champions League, so I’m leaving.”

“There is nothing like this with Mo or other players. They ask if they can get a longer vacation or something, but no one asks me if they should come back after the vacation.”

Mohamed Salah has addressed the fans of Liverpool, apologizing for missing out on the Champions League. The Egyptian believes that participation in the main European Cup tournament should be a minimum for the Reds.

Salah has scored 30 goals and provided 15 assists in 50 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season. In March, the Egyptian became Liverpool’s top scorer in the era of the English Premier League.

Liverpool are in fifth place in the Premier League with a round to go, but four points behind Newcastle. In the final match of the season, Jurgen Klopp’s team will play against Southampton on 28 May.
