First place went to the women’s quadruple sculls
Team of Ukraine won gold on Rowing European Championship 2023which takes place in Slovenian Bled.
Gold medals were won by the women’s four-man sculling team Daria Verkhoglyad, Natalia Dovgodko, Anastasia Kozhenkova And Ekaterina Dudchenko. Silver went to the representatives of the Netherlands, bronze – to the UK.
For Ukraine, this gold was the first at the European Rowing Championships since 2014.
It should be noted that today Ukraine won four medals at the World Cup in kayaking and canoeing in Poznan. Gold awards in the assets of Ludmila Luzan and the crew of the kayak-four (Oleg Kukharuk, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semikin).
The bronze medalists were Alexander Zaitsev and the crew Vitaly Vergeles, Andrey Rybachok, Taras Kuzyk, Vladimir Savchin.
