Wolves extended their streak without a win in the Italian championship to seven matches
Fiorentina won a strong-willed victory over Roma in the match of the 37th round Italian championship – 2:1.
Wolves took the lead in the 11th minute after Stefan El Shaarawy’s accurate shot. Violets bounced back in the 85th minute with the efforts of Luka Jovic, and three minutes later Jonathan Ikone brought Fiorentina victory.
Roma extended their streak without a win in the Italian championship to seven matches. José Mourinho’s side is sixth in Serie A.
Fiorentina moved up to ninth position in the standings. The other day the team of Vincenzo Italiano lost to Inter (1:2) in the final of the Coppa Italia.
Roma will play their next match on May 31 against Sevilla in the Europa League final. Fiorentina will play Sassuolo in Serie A on July 4 and West Ham in the Conference League final on July 7.
