Rodrigo’s brace gives Real Madrid victory over Sevilla

Nervions finished the meeting in the minority

Real away won Seville in the match of the 37th round Spanish Championship – 2:1.

Already in the 3rd minute of the meeting, Rafa Mir brought the Nervions ahead. The guests bounced back in the middle of the first half – Rodrigo scored a goal with a direct free kick.

In the 69th minute, Rodrigo scored again and brought victory to Real Madrid. The Brazilian completed a quick counterattack by Blancos.

Sevilla played out the meeting in the minority. Marcos Acuña received a direct red card for a rough foul against Dani Ceballos.

Real Madrid are second in La Liga, four points ahead of Atlético. Sevilla remained in tenth position in the standings.

On June 4, Real Madrid will host Athletic at home in the final round of La Liga. Sevilla will face Roma in the Europa League final on 31 May.
