São Paulo confirms victory over América-MG in the first half at Morumbi; Patrick replaces the injured Luan and guarantees Tricolor victory
O Sao Paulo won the America-MG 1-0 this Sunday, 12, at Morumbi, for the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship, and ended the sequence of four consecutive draws in the competition. After holding Coelho’s pressure in the first ten minutes, Tricolor had a goal from Patrick still in the first leg to secure victory at home.
With the result, São Paulo ended the fast, reached 18 points and climbed to third place in the national classification table. Coelho, on the other hand, was parked at 14 points, in ninth place. The Minas Gerais team is four points behind Internacional, the team that closes the G-4, and two points away from Cuiabá, which opens the relegation zone.

At 19, Patrick kicked low from the edge of the area, causing danger to the Minas Gerais goal.
