Palermo among the stars would be normal. Sicily is one of the largest islands in Europe, 5 million inhabitants: one nation. They’ve just come in, they’re learning different aspects, they’re going to build solid foundations. There is no shortage of crafts and projects.”
Meanwhile, the city was disappointed with a 2–0 victory over Brescia, which evaporated despite 32,000 spectators, and exiting the play-offs.
“It’s a pity. Palermo in Serie A fits in, and sort of fits in! Of course, he failed the match point. A mistake that can happen. This disappointment is the essence of football. Nothing is impossible, miracles exist. Nereo Rocco told me this a long time ago, and it’s not trivial.
