Real Madrid considering signing ex-Liverpool player

Free on the market, ex-Liverpool entered Real Madrid’s sights for the next transfer window; name is considered to reinforce Carlo Ancelotti’s team

O Real Madrid consider hiring the Brazilian Roberto Firminowho left the Liverpool this season, for the next football transfer window. Without renewing the bond that ends in June, the striker is free on the market and can sign free of charge with any team.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in the football transfer market, the Spanish team is studying a possible arrival of the player in Spain. Despite considering Firmino, Real have not yet opened negotiations.

Firmino scored the last goal for Liverpool in the 4-4 draw against Southampton and ended his spell at the club with 110 goals in 361 appearances. The 31-year-old striker is the Brazilian who scored the most times in the Premier League, with 81 balls in the net.

Firmino won a considerable amount of trophies for Liverpool. Over the eight seasons in which he defended the team, the Brazilian helped win: Champions League (2018/2019), UEFA Super Cup (2019), the first Club World Cup for the Reds, against Flamengo (2019), Premier title League (2019/2020), English League Cup (2021/2022), FA Cup (2021/2022) and FA Super Cup (2022).
