Ukrainian wants to leave the Madrid club
Real decided on the candidacy of the second goalkeeper.
Ukrainian keeper Andrey Lunin, who is an understudy of the main goalkeeper Blancos Thibaut Courtois, decided to leave the club. In his place, Real Madrid plans to take the goalkeeper Getafe Davia Soria (38 matches in all tournaments, 13 – “to zero”), who will become a free agent in the summer.
Earlier it was reported that Lunin allegedly lost the confidence of the team’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti. At the same time, the player himself had previously turned to the leadership of Blancos about a possible transfer, and in the near future the Ukrainian should meet with the management of Real Madrid.
Bayer and Borussia D. are interested in Lunin’s services. Andrei’s contract with Real Madrid is valid until the summer of 2024. On loan from Real Madrid, the goalkeeper played in Leganes, Valladolid and Oviedo.
In total this season, the Ukrainian has played 12 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions, conceding 13 goals. In four fights, the Ukrainian played “to zero”.
Real Madrid are in second place in La Liga. On June 4, the Ancelotti team will end the season with a match against Athletic. Getafe, which is in 14th position, will play against Valladolid on the same day.
