The final meeting of the Europa League 2022/23 will be held in Budapest at the Puskas Arena
Head coach Roma Jose Mourinho commented on the upcoming final Europa League against Seville.
“We deserve to play in this final, we have been talking about it for a long time. It has been a long journey, different from our opponent who came from the Champions League. We want to play, we’ve been working to be fit to fight for the title.”
“I had more opportunities to play in European competitions, but Sevilla head coach Mendilibar is from the same generation as me, with the same gray hair. We are on an equal footing. It’s the same with the players: Sevilla has more experience, but we’ve been playing together for two years now.”
“Sevilla have a great team with 25 players of the highest level. All of them are professionals, they have a lot of opportunities. But they don’t know my guys and they don’t know my team.”
“Mendilibar thinks history makes Sevilla a favourite, I respect that. For them to play in the final is a common thing, for us it is an extraordinary event.”
The final meeting of the Europa League 2022/23 will be held in Budapest at the Puskas Arena. The fight will start at 22:00 Kyiv time.
The match will be served by a team of referees headed by Anthony Taylor from England. Taylor’s compatriot Stuart Ettwell will be responsible for the VAR system.
