Adiev happy that Kazakhstan national team candidates get game time in RPL

Kazakhstan national team head coach Magomed Adiev admitted he was encouraged that all Kazakh players in the RPL are getting playing time.

– I am all the candidates for the national team of Kazakhstan and I am happy that all the players playing in RPL get playing time. We are very encouraged in the upcoming games.

I wouldn’t say that Khimki’s relegation to the first division will be a big problem for us. Of course, I want Lev Skvortsov to continue playing in the RPL, but if he plays in the Premier League, I don’t see any problem here. There are a lot of games, a tough and competitive league, and Andrei Talalaev is working there, who has a good training process. So in their departure from the RPL, I don’t see a big problem for the national team. Should we expect him in the Premier League team? We are in such a status that we cannot scatter the players, we consider all the players and we draw conclusions.

I am in contact with Zainutdinov, I spoke to him. We see that in the last two games he has entered the pitch and got playing time, we are happy about that. We expect him for the next matches, including the Russian Cup final. He came and is in a much worse condition, as he didn’t play before the national team rally, so now it’s normal.

Alip played in the last matches, we are happy about that. Whether he leaves Zenit or not is his decision. I think Alip wants to play, I will respect any decision he makes. As for Marat Bystrov, he is now in normal form.

In June, the Kazakhstan national team will play two qualifying matches for the 2024 European Championship – with the San Marino team on June 16 and with the Northern Ireland team three days later.
