Sevilla goalkeeper Yassin Bunu recognized as the best player in the Europa League final, in which the Andalusians beat Roma on penalties.
The goalkeeper saved two of the Romans’ three penalties in the post-match series, handling shots from Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibáñez. Sevilla players, in turn, were accurate, which brought the team a trophy.
Bunu has made 60 appearances for Sevilla in all competitions this season. On account of the 32-year-old Moroccan – seven fights “to zero”.
Sevilla have won the Europa League/UEFA Cup for a record seventh time. The Spanish club has previously won the tournament in 2006, 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2020. Note that the Nervionians have never lost in the finals of the Europa League.
