Kryvbas start preparing for the new season championship of Ukraine 21st of June. Footballers of the team will gather in Krivoy Rog.

It is not yet known who will lead Kryvbas next season. Recall that in early June the club did not renew the contract with head coach Alexander Babich.

The main contender for the post of coach of the Kryvyi Rih team is the ex-coach of Zorya and Sheriff Yuriy Vernidub. Earlier, Sport Arena reported that the Ukrainian specialist is close to concluding a contract with Kryvbas and has already held talks with the club’s management.

Kryvbas took second place in the First League and advanced to the Premier League. Recall that the previous season was completed ahead of schedule due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The start of the 2022/23 championship is tentatively scheduled for August 20. In the new season, 16 teams will play in the Premier League, the championship matches will be held in two rounds (30 rounds).
