CSKA Moscow defender Willian Roshi’s statement regarding capital “Spartak” striker Alexander Sobolev will be considered on June 8, said head of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) Control and Disciplinary Committee Artur Grigoryants.
The WORLD RPL Round 28 match was played on May 21 and ended with Spartak winning 2-1. After the match in the Rocha mixed zone, in an interview with Brazilian journalist Fabio Aleixo, Sobolev called “a clown and a bad person”. The FCC RFU has decided to open a new case and involve a Portuguese language specialist.
– After the last meeting, we sent a request to Roche to the Brazilian Institute of Sports Law in order to obtain an opinion on the comments made by the footballer. Today we received a response from Brazil – from a professor of this institute, a member of the FIFA committee on this issue. This is the episode where Rosha said the word “clown” in the mixed zone.
We will consider this issue at the next meeting on June 8th. The translation is currently being analyzed. Spartak also provided their expertise, but you have to understand that the club in this story is an interested party. CSKA gave us nothing. We will rely on an independent review, – the correspondent reports Grigoryants’ words.
