Paraguayan journalist spikes Corinthians “hat” in Botafogo; check out

After months of negotiation with Botafogo, Matías Rojas, from Racing, is close to Corinthians and, according to a Paraguayan journalist, has already closed a deal with Timão

This Wednesday, the 31st, theCorinthians may have completed his first signing for the next transfer window.Matías Rojasof racing, is one of the most touched subjects in the club recently. According to Paraguayan journalist Nicolas Sosafrom the ‘ABC Deportes‘, the negotiation is closed and the midfielder is already from Timão.

The journalist published on his social networks that the signing of Matías Rojas by Corinthians is already certain. Therefore, if confirmed, the Paraguayan would be available to the São Paulo club from July 1, after the end of his bond with Racing, his current team.

As with the Botafogo, a club that is also interested in hiring the Paraguayan, Corinthians had to double down on the negotiation. Despite not paying a transfer fee, Timão had to work with the conditions imposed by Rojas’ staff, who talked about salary values, gloves and bonuses in a new team.

So far, the specifications of the Paraguayan’s possible contract with Corinthians have not been disclosed. However, taking into account the previous requests from Rojas’ team to Botafogo, the established bond should be for four years, until the end of 2027. The midfielder is looking for an opportunity in Brazil largely due to the devaluation of the Argentine peso.

Racing’s number 10, Matías Rojas is the team’s main articulator. In 14 games played this year, the player scored seven goals and provided an assist. In fact, one of the Paraguayan’s goals was for the liberators, when he finished an unlikely finish before midfield.
