On the eve of the classic, members of an organized crowd of Atlético-MG protested at the door of Cidade do Galo this Friday, the 2nd. Corinthians in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil.
The main target of the protests was the coach Eduardo Coudet, who got out of his car to talk to the fans at the door of CT do Galo. The coach heard that “he is no longer welcome at Atlético” from a member of the organization.
“I want to know about you. When you left here for São Paulo (for the game against Corinthians), the board didn’t tell you that the club needed money (…) you can say whatever you want. We try to understand, but there is no way to put the Dodô on?”said the president of the organized crowd, in a statement echoed by the “GE”.
Striker Hulk, who entered only in the second half of the match against Corinthians, was also approached by the group. He had the penalty saved by Cássio in the series of charges that defined the classified for the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil.
