Last Tuesday, the 6th, the saints in Odair Hellmann was defeated in Copa Sudamericana 2023. In the middle of Vila Belmiro, Alvinegro got the worst of it against Newell’s Old Boys by 1 to 2 and got even more complicated in the continental tournament. After the confrontation, the commander spoke about the criticism received by the fans in the season.

“There are no two ways tomorrow. There’s only one. Come to the CT, work, resume and bleed, sweat as much as possible in the tactical, technical and physical part to get the result”spiked Odair. “In football, the non-result is not evaluated. Winner is good and loser is bad. Today we are the bad ones and we have to understand the fan’s revolt. It’s no use being “revolted”, sad (with the fans)”.

The coach added: “We are angry and sad, yes, but tomorrow we will get up, head forward and look each one in the eye. If what we have done so far has not been enough, we have the capacity to give more.”. In addition, Odair Hellmann highlighted that a dismissal scenario does not worry him, as he feels supported to stay and continue his work.

“I feel supported. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will report to work to look for solutions that we have not yet achieved. This is my job, this is what I believe in, this is what I can focus on. There is a board, a hierarchical process. Tomorrow I’m there to work and look for recovery”he stated.
