Rebrov: Many national team players don’t get the training they want

The head coach of the national team complained about problems with the formation of the squad.

Sergei Rebrov spoke about the problems of the Ukrainian team. According to the new head coach of the national team, many performers do not get proper match practice in their clubs, which is a problem for the top team in the country.

Also, the coach separately dwells on the injury of Roman Yaremchuk, because of which the forward of Brugge will miss the next matches of the national team.

“Unfortunately, Yaremchuk’s injury did not allow him to come. I spoke to him. He apologized and will prepare for the season in his club. We have called enough new candidates. They deserve to be included in the national team. The same Vanat, who has been very stable for the last half season of football. This is very important. Also Kochergin, whom I followed back to Zara. I think that with his performances in Poland he deserves to enter the national team. Let’s see, we have many candidates, there is competition for every position.

Many players don’t get the kind of training we consider enjoyable. But when they come to the national team, you have to look at them. Therefore, we created a competition for each position to check them in the training process. Now I can’t say who will be the base. It is necessary to start working and decide during the training process who is more ready,” said Rebrov.
