Former striker CSKA Brazilian Ricardo Jesus told Sport24 he admires the army coach Valery Gazzaev .
Gazzaev coached CSKA from 2002 to 2008. Gazzaev with CSKA won the Russian Championship three times, the Russian Cup 4 times, and also won the UEFA Cup.
– How would you describe Gazzaev in three words?
Serious, honest. He spoke to me, explained to me why I was playing or not playing. And command: always helped, but also demanded the return. He was like a father to everyone. I admired Gazzaev. And he always communicated with him without an interpreter: he already understood Russian well.
– Carvalho came to Moscow and called him only a mustache. You are not?
– Ha-ha! No, I never called the coach that. Mustache is a better word,” Jesus said.
