However, Corinthians and Liverpool, in third and fourth place, respectively, have four points are still alive to seek a place in the round of 16. Finally, the only scenario in which Corinthians would depend solely on itself would be in the event of a victory in Ecuador. That way, Alvinegro would take second place, with seven points, and a triumph against Liverpool, regardless of the result of the other match, already guarantees Timão in the round of 16.
