On the eve of the London club won the Conference League trophy, beating Fiorentina in the final of the tournament with the score 2:1. During the game, plastic cups were thrown at Italian club captain Cristiano Biraghi, along with a harder foreign object which hit him in the head, leaving a cut on the back of his head.

West Ham unreservedly condemns the behavior of the small number of people who threw objects onto the pitch during the Conference League final. These actions have no place in football and in no way represent the value of our football club and the vast majority of our supporters, who behaved flawlessly in the match.

We will work with the police and other stakeholders to investigate incidents and take action against anyone found guilty of an offence. In line with our zero tolerance approach, all those identified will be handed over to the police and will receive an indefinite ban and therefore will not be able to visit our stadium and be with the team at away games. There is no place for such behavior at West Ham,” the London club said in a statement.

The Conference League final match was broadcast live on the channel and thematic channels of the holding company, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru sites.
