In December, the American plans to fight Anthony Joshua
Former World Champion Deontay Wilder announced that he would next fight approximately in august and not later September.
The American’s opponent is unknown. It was previously reported that Deontay plans to fight ex-world champion Anthony Joshua in December in the future. Promoter Eddie Hearn said that the British team received an official offer to fight Wilder, but is still waiting for a contract.
Recall that Skill Challenge Entertainment plans to host a fight in the Middle East between two ex-world champions Joshua and Wilder, as well as a fight between WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC champion Tyson Fury. Wilder is interested in the December night of boxing, whether or not Fury takes part in it.
In his last fight, Wilder defeated Finn Robert Helenius by knockout in the first round in October. Also, Deontay should fight against ex-world champion Andy Ruiz.
