Saudi team Al Ahli ready to propose Manchester City By Riyad Mahrez. Al Ahly is ready to shell out 100 million euros for the Algerian footballer plus bonuses for leaving Manchester.
A delegation was in London this week that included Al-Ahli President Waleed Muat. Representatives discussed the possibility of signing a contract with some of the players in the list of which Mahrez was included.
The Algerian footballer’s contract with Manchester City will run for another two years, but the player is unhappy with his position at the club and wants to get more playing time on the field.
In the 2022/2023 season, Mahrez played 47 matches in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists.
This season for the Saudi team was victorious, Al-Ahli won the second division of Saudi Arabia and will play in the Premier League next season.
Manchester City took first place in the championship of England and became the owner of the FA Cup. The next match Citizens will play against Inter in the Champions League final on June 10 at 22:00 Kyiv time.
