Blue-yellow beat Germany and Italy
Men’s national team of Ukraine in basketball 3×3 qualified for the playoffs European Championship 2023.
In the first match of the group round, the blue-yellows defeated the German national team – 16:12. The Germans started the fight better, but the Ukrainians seized the initiative and snatched the victory. Big man Maxim Nikitin was the best among the blue-yellows with 7 points.
In the second match of the game day, the Ukrainian team defeated Italy – 18:10. The Blue-and-Yellows controlled the course of the game from the very beginning, and forward Vladimir Konev scored 7 points.
The Ukrainian national team took first place in group B. In the quarter-finals of the qualification for Euro 2023, Ukrainians will play with the second team in group D. Recall that the best three qualifying teams will receive tickets to Euro 2023.
