Neither team gained an advantage before the second leg in Cherkassy.
On Saturday, June 10, Petrovo hosted the first playoff match for a place in the UPL for the 2023/24 season, where local Ingulets and Cherkasy LNZ met.
In the first half, the teams failed to bring the case to a scored goal. But they coped with this task well in the second half.
Immediately after the break, the home team took the lead. Klymenko moved the ball on the left flank to Kozyrenko, who held it for a moment, then he rolled into the blow of a running teammate, who became the same Klymenko. A player from the penalty area took a shot, which the goalkeeper couldn’t handle.
But the visitors quickly recovered, thanks to an accurate penalty taken by Tishchenko.
For the remaining half hour of the game, neither team scored the winning goal. As a result, the winner of the confrontation and the participant of UPL-2023/24 will be determined in Cherkasy on June 14.
