The Ukrainian lost to the Mexican Munguia
Manager of the former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko Egis Klimas commented on the defeat of the Ukrainian boxer Sergei Derevyanchenko in a duel against a Mexican Jaime Munguy.
“This sport is no longer as interesting as it used to be. It’s crazy that commissions keep such unfair judges. I would like them to be brought to sparring so that they feel like they are in the ring. Or, perhaps, this is a sentence – to be born in Ukraine?
Sergei was knocked down in the 12th round, so what? He still won the fight. Not like Lomachenko, but he was also robbed. Welcome to the Ukraine!” Klimas wrote on his Twitter.
Recall that according to the results of 12 rounds, all three judges gave the victory to the Mexican boxer – 115:112, 114:113, 114:113.
Derevyanchenko suffered his fifth defeat, and the fourth in the last five fights. The undefeated Munguia scored his 42nd win in the professional ring.
