AC Milan legend Silvio Berlusconi dies aged 86

The politician and football manager had been hospitalized for three months after undergoing tests and finding some changes in his diagnoses. In the last few hours, the Italian did not keep up with the fight against leukemia and died at the age of 86.

It is worth mentioning that the condition was also even more serious, as the Italian suffered from a lung infection. He had been hospitalized since April 5th, endured the last few months of treatment, but it wasn’t enough. According to the Italian press, Silvio Berlusconi was accompanied by his wife, Marta Fascina, and died at the San Raffaele hospital, located in the city of Milan.

The former football manager is one of the main names in national sport. He was responsible for bringing about a real revolution at Milan. Silvio Berlusconi created legendary, star-studded teams that brought the Rossoneri’s achievements that fans remember to this day. There were 31 years in charge of the club and 29 titles won since then.

Milan’s main victories in the ‘Era Berlusconi’ were four Champions League titles and absolute dominance in Italy’s top flight. behind only Juventus, which has 36, and ahead of Inter Milan, which has 18. In all, the Milanese have won the Italian Championship 19 times.
