Former Everton manager Carlo Anchelotti filed a complaint against the English club in the Supreme Court in London, according to The Guardian.
According to court records, Ancelotti’s lawyers filed a lawsuit against his former employers on Friday. The case concerns “general business contracts and arrangements”.
No further details of the case were provided. Representatives for the Italian coach declined to comment.
Ancelotti worked for Everton from 2019 to 2021.
He now has a contract with Real Madrid until 2024. Ancelotti will take charge of the Spanish club for the second time in 2021. Since then he has won the Spanish Championship, Cup and the country’s Super Cup with the team, won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup once.
