The case of the Italian coach against his former team concerns commercial contracts and agreements. The parties do not disclose details regarding the statement of claim.

The lawsuit is reportedly putting additional pressure on Everton’s management, who are seeking funding sources for the team for next season. To cover all costs, the Toffees are expected to have to sell several players over the summer.

Ancelotti coached Everton from December 2019 to June 2021. The Italian specialist terminated the contract with Iriski ahead of schedule and moved to Real Madrid.

Everton are 17th in the Premier League this season. The team of Ukrainian Vitaliy Mykolenko finished two points above the relegation zone.
