PSG striker Kylian Mbappe sent an official letter to the club, in which he informed the management that he would not use the option to automatically extend the contract for another season, according to L’Equipe.
The 24-year-old striker’s current deal runs until the summer of 2024. It also includes the possibility of extending the contract for another year.
At the end of May, Mbappé announced his intention to stay at the Parisian club.
The footballer became champion of France this season, in 33 Ligue 1 matches, he scored 28 goals and six assists.
