Representatives Kyliana Mbappe previously sent an official letter to the French media in which the footballer announced his refusal to renew his contract with PSG before sending him directly to the club. It is reported by The New York Times.
Earlier, it was reported that PSG received a notification from the striker regarding his intention to refuse to extend the deal.
It is alleged that the PSG management were taken by surprise when they learned of this letter from French journalists.
The 24-year-old striker’s current deal runs until the summer of 2024. It also includes the possibility of extending the contract for another year.
Mbappé won the French title this season, scoring 28 goals and 6 assists in 33 Ligue 1 appearances.
