Guardian of Moscow CSKA Igor Akinfeev said he plans to continue his career at least until the end of the current contract.
Akinfeev is 37 years old, he has spent his entire career at CSKA, the goalkeeper’s current contract is valid until June 30, 2024. On Sunday, Akinfeev helped the army team win the Russian Cup, parrying two hits during a penalty shootout. In addition, Valentinych (Vladimir Fedotov) became a kind of helper, from the first year (as head coach) he motivated the team and they repaid by playing differently. All is relative.
