Rice is ready to join Arsenal, Bayern refused to transfer the midfielder

The Munich team withdrew from the negotiations due to the constant increase in the value of the player

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice ready to join Arsenal.

The Gunners were reported to be willing to offer £100m for the player. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has promised the player a key role in the team. Rice’s transfer will be the most expensive in Gunnery history.

Bayern, who had previously targeted the player, turned down the transfer. Rice was ready to move to a German club, but the Munich team was not satisfied with the fact that the price of a football player was constantly growing.

Rice’s contract with West Ham runs until the summer of 2024. This season, the 24-year-old midfielder has made 50 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists. Together with the team, Rice became the winner of the Conference League, in the final West Ham beat Fiorentina (2: 1).

Arsenal finished second in the Premier League this season, while West Ham finished 14th in the league table.
