Ribbon cutting followed by an event dedicated to the club’s investors and a match between Legends of Venezia FC open to fans (beginning at 18:45 – it will be possible to reserve a place in ways to be announced later) will be attended by major institutional and sports authorities, local and national.
Project managed by TFE Ingegneria and AI Progetti, coordinated by Eng. Zefferino Tommasin, architect. Andrea Borin and PI Andrea Pellizzato, entrusted to CEV as the general contractor, fully represent the goals that the company intends to achieve in support of the Venetian territory, focusing on the energy sustainability of the infrastructure and its usability, in order to further increase contacts with the local community.
Strengthening the areas dedicated to the activities of the youth and women’s sector is in line with the long-term goals of FC Venezia, promoting the development of sports practice at all levels and providing each team with the space and logistical resources necessary to achieve the goal of excellence. The expansion of the areas dedicated to the First Team, as well as their proximity to the new premises intended for the administrative and economic part of the company, will contribute to a greater integration of the technical component with the day-to-day management of the club.
The expansion of the Ca’ Venezia sports complex has resulted in the creation of six playing fields, which will be used for joint training of the first team, women’s and youth sectors. The main field, which overlooks a renovated semi-covered stand, has been fitted with a new lighting system and seating area to enhance the experience for fans attending official matches between Venezia FC Primavera and the women’s first team.

The technical area of the men’s first team and the administrative area are located in the main building, adjacent to the semi-covered grandstand and equipped with a representative area, a panoramic terrace and a conference room.
The inauguration will be dedicated to the club’s investors and the subscribers of the Venezia FC bond issued at the end of last season, whose contribution was vital to the project.
FC Venezia President Duncan Niederauer:
“The implementation of this innovative project is an important milestone for the Venice Football Club. Together with our recently refurbished historic Penzo Stadium, the new Ca’ Venezia facility is a one-of-a-kind sports centre, unparalleled in Italy and throughout Europe, integrating our corporate headquarters with a sports one. Designed and developed in accordance with our philosophy of offering players, fans and the club the best and most sustainable sports technology, the center was conceived to optimize the performance, training and overall experience of all those who visit the complex. On behalf of the entire club, I would like to thank the architects and contractors, the city of Venice, my fellow board members, our team and, of course, the dedicated Venice fans.
English Aram Giacomelli, General Contractor of Enterprise CEV:
“The construction work for the new headquarters of FC Venezia was entrusted to Impresa CEV, a historic construction company from Treviso, which completed the work in just over a year without interrupting the normal training activities of the sports centre. Attention to detail is evident in every element of the structure, from the charming factory-prefabricated exposed concrete spiral staircase to the new terraces with panoramic views of the sports fields. Rep-type steel beams, large-span honeycomb slabs and the use of innovative prefabricated elements are just some of the elements that characterize the intervention from a technical point of view. In addition, the introduction of the latest generation systems ensures maximum comfort for athletes and visitors to the Center. The Impresa CEV was supported by leading local suppliers with dozens of workers involved and an excellent result, also in terms of safety: in fact, after the completion of the work, the number of injuries is reduced to zero.
