Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok lost in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament in Nottingham.
The Ukrainian performed together with Alicia Rosolskaya from Poland. In the first round, the duo lost in three sets to Wu Fansen/Zhu Lin (Chinese Taipei/China).
Kichenok and Rosolska lost the first set, but confidently dealt with their rivals in the second set. At the super tie-break, Nadezhda and Alicia played unsuccessfully on their serves and lost the match.
Recall that Nadezhda Kichenok previously lost to Wu Fansen in the first round of doubles at Roland Garros 2023. The Ukrainian competed at the tournament together with Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany.
