Ex-coach of Shakhtar shared his thoughts on Mudrik
Head coach Brighton Roberto De Zerbi decided to support the Ukrainian footballer Mikhail Mudrik. The specialist is confident that the midfielder is able to become an important player for Chelsea.
“Mudrik’s potential is off scale, it’s even impossible to measure it, but he needs to be managed specifically, he needs special management, mostly mental.”
“Mudrik is very sensitive, but he is a great guy. The work on himself is not yet complete, but he can be special.
Recall that, together with the Italian coach, Mudryk worked at Shakhtar in the 2021/2022 season.
Mudrik moved to Chelsea in January and signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract with the club. Chelsea and Shakhtar agreed to sign Mudrik for 100 million euros, and the Ukrainian’s salary is 7.5 million euros per year.
The midfielder has made 17 appearances for the Blues in all competitions. Mikhail has two assists.
The London club finished the Premier League season in 12th place. Mauricio Pochettino became the new head coach of the team.
