Athletistic/Football. Alexander Medvedev, general manager of Zenit football club Saint Petersburg, has announced the acquisition of midfielder Gustavo Mantua from Brazilian team Corinthians.
Last season, Mantuan played for Zenit on loan.
“Mantuan remains a Zenit player. We bought his transfer, you can talk about that,” Medvedev said in an interview with Match TV.
Gustavo Mantua, 21, made 29 appearances for Zenit, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the Brazilian footballer at 3 million euros.
