The head coach “Roma” Jose Mourinho rejected the proposal of the Saudi club Al Ahly said Sky Sport journalist Angelo Mangiante on his Twitter page.
According to him, the Portuguese specialist spoke in London with the president of Al-Ahli, Walid Muaat, but refused him, despite the favorable terms of the contract.
After losing to Spanish side Sevilla in the Europa League final in May, the 60-year-old said he plans to stay at the Italian club.
Mourinho has been in charge of Roma since 2021. In the season ended, the team finished sixth in the Italian league.
Al-Ahli in the 2022/23 season won the second highest division of the Saudi Arabian league and earned a ticket to the elite division.
