When a coach receives such signals a few rounds before the end of the championship, the players also read the Internet – this is not normal.
“I talked with the boys – they are in shock! After the match, we went into the locker room, they were not happy that they remained in the Premier League. Solid despair from the fact that Wirth left. All are depressed. There is no joy in the result. The most important thing is that the guys drowned for the coach, were for him to the last. It means that something is wrong in the club. I am now a player of another club. This is just my opinion of what is happening.”
Wirth has been in charge of Veres since 2019 and lifted the team from the Second League to the Premier League. In the last match, under the guidance of a coach, the red-blacks defeated Zaporozhye Metalurh (6:1) and retained their place in the UPL.
