Specialist continue to work with the team
Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui will continue to work with Wolverhamptonthe specialist decided to stay in the English club.
The 56-year-old Spaniard made the decision to continue coaching the Wolves after negotiations with club representatives regarding the team’s future.
Lopetegui was unhappy with the club’s policies, the coach was worried about Wolverhampton’s problems with financial fair play. The English club has to sell players to comply with the rules of the FFP. Also, the Wolves did not sign the players that Lopetegui wanted to see in the team.
Julen took charge of the English in November 2022, when the team was in the penultimate place in the standings of the championship of England.
In the 2022/2023 season, Wolverhampton took 13th place in the Premier League, the team scored 41 points and broke away from the relegation zone by 7 points.
